If you’re a Project Manager interested in learning more about Agile, study the Manifesto and the Principles. Ask your teams to decide what you will need to Start doing, Stop Doing and Continue doing to align to each value.
Apply the simplest framework possible with those rules, and make the rest of them up as you work together to deliver amazing stuff for your customers, who they know by name.
Then evolve the rules the way your team needs them to evolve so they can deliver even more amazing stuff for your customers. Who YOU know by name.
And then I will say your company is really moving toward agility. Until then, you’re just following another person’s playbook, which they wrote based on THEIR needs.
